Ronnie Burrage is from St. Louis and lives in New York, he´s been active on the international jazz scene for more than 40 years. When he was 19 years old he started to play with McCoy Tyner for three years and since then Ronnie has played with a lot of musicians like Wayne Shorter, Joe Zawinul, Jaco Pastorius, Michael Brecker, Archie Shepp, Sonny Rollins, Bobbie Hutcherson, Jackie McLean, Hamiet Bluiett, Frank Morgan, Stanley Cowell, Kenny Garrett, Woody Shaw, Sonny Fortune, Courtney Pine, Geri Allen, David Murray, Mal Waldron, Terumaso Hino, The World Saxophone Quartet, Wallace Roney, Gary Bartz, Greg Osby, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Grégoire Maret and many more. He has released 10 albums under his name and can be heard on more than 170 albums.
