kommen heute Abend tolle Nachwuchsmusiker zusammen um im Salon De Jazz gemeinsam ein Konzertereignis der Extraklasse zu zelebrieren.

MASSIMO IMPERATORE
Born in Naples, Italy.
Based in Amsterdam since 2017, he received his Master’s Degree in Jazz Guitar in 2019
from the Conservatory of Amsterdam.
During brief periods of stay in the USA, he had a chance to study with some of the best
artists based in Los Angeles and New York, such as Anthony Wilson (Diana Krall), Nir
Felder, Gilad Hekselman, Peter Bernstein, Steve Cardenas, Kenny Werner.
He attended special masterclasses in Siena Jazz, where he had the opportunity to study
with Enrico Rava, Mark Turner, Mark Guiliana, John Taylor, Reuben Rogers.
During these years he established himself as an expressive and eclectic guitar player
and composer, blending the tradition of Jazz music with in-depth research to achieve a
unique guitaristic style, enclosing multiple genres in his vocabulary.
He had the chance to work with different bands, as a leader or sideman, such as
“Sadhana”, the Indie/Pop band “Fitness Forever”, “Em4ncipation”, the Italian Jazz
orchestra “Orchestra Nazionale Jazz Giovani Talenti”, Marta Arpini, Ben Fitzpatrick
(WDR big band), Jasper Blom, and many others, recording and touring all over Europe.
During these last 6 years in the Netherlands, Massimo performed in some of the most
notable venues and festivals, among them “So What’s Next” (Eindhoven), “Amsterdam
JazzFest”, “Concert Gebouw” (Amsterdam), “Injazz Festival” (Rotterdam), “Grachten
Festival” (Amsterdam), “Amarte studio concerts”, Bimhuis, Lantaren Venster.
